2012 Genesis System 3X Welding Cell, 2 FANUC Arc Mate 100iC Robots, 10kg Payload, 1420mm Reach

The 2012 Genesis System 3X is a dual-trunnion MIG welding cell featuring two FANUC Arc Mate 100iC six-axis articulated robots. Each robot has a 10 kg payload capacity, a 1420 mm horizontal reach, and a repeatability of ±0.08 mm. The system is controlled by FANUC R-30iB controllers and includes color teach pendants and connection cables. The welding cell is built on a fabricated base with an indexing center column that rotates 180 degrees. The trunnions feature adjustable between-center distances ranging from approximately 6 feet to 8 feet in 2-inch increments, with an approximate swing of 49 inches. The main sweep index time is 4.5 to 5 seconds, and the weight capacity per station is 2,204 lbs. Robot motion speeds are 210°/s for J1 and J3, 190°/s for J2, 400°/s for J4 and J5, and 600°/s for J6. The robots support floor, inverted, or angle mounting. Integrated welding equipment includes two Lincoln i-400 power supplies, two Lincoln 4R220 wire feeders, two welding torches, and a torch tip cleaner. The robot design incorporates a slim wrist for access to small openings and high-speed motion across its working envelope.
