The Durodyne Lsu Universal Liner Sizer/Cutter is a manual, hand-operated machine designed for efficient sizing and cutting of duct liner insulation. The cutter can handle a maximum roll width of up to 60 inches and a maximum roll diameter of up to 40 inches. It automatically adjusts to accommodate a liner thickness ranging from 0.5 inches to 2 inches (1/2" through 2") and liner density from 1.5 to 6 lbs density. The Lsu is compatible with various materials, including fiberglass, cotton fiber, filter media, rubberized products, elastomeric foam, neoprene, and closed-cell products. Operation utilizes a manual hand crank with a direct chain drive, supporting material feed from left-to-right or right-to-left. Both the cross cut and slitter blades are mechanically gear-driven to spin, ensuring a clean shearing action for precise cuts. Cross-cutting is performed with a swivel-mounted 36-inch handle, and the machine can be equipped with up to five slitters. A built-in reel/cradle supports one roll of insulation. The unit has a shipping weight of approximately 280 lbs and dimensions of 62½ inches long, 82 inches wide, and 52 inches high.
