The Elmo BAS-5/230 is a Bassoon series digital servo drive engineered for precise motion control. It requires a main power supply of 230 VAC and an auxiliary supply of 24 VDC. The unit delivers a continuous output power of 1.6 kW and a continuous output current of 5 amperes, with peak current capability reaching 15 amperes for transient loads. It is configured to operate with resolver feedback for accurate position and velocity control. Thermal management is provided by an integrated active fan. The drive supports multiple control modes, including current (torque), velocity, and position.
