ExtraktLab E-140 Four-Machine Supercritical CO2 Extraction Line

The extraktLAB E-140 four-machine extraction line is an industrial-scale supercritical and subcritical CO2 botanical processing system engineered for high-throughput, solvent-free oil recovery. Consisting of four identical, fully automated E-140 extraction units, the integrated line delivers a total combined theoretical processing capacity of up to 1,688 lbs (768 kg) of biomass per day. Each machine provides a brochure-rated throughput of 422 lbs (192 kg) per day based on rapid 60-minute extraction cycles handling a 5–8 kg biomass input per cycle (at 10% plant potency). Each standalone E-140 unit features dual 20 L extraction vessels with independent process controls, operating across pressures from 0 to 5,000 psi and temperatures from 25°C to 100°C. Selective product fractionation is executed through three 2.5 L collection vessels utilizing cyclonic and solubility-based separation principles, supported by an integrated 20 L CO2 recycle vessel to optimize gas recovery and reduce ongoing operational expenses. Engineered specifically for strict cGMP compliance, all wetted components are constructed from FDA-approved, structural-grade ASME 304 and 316 stainless steel. The equipment carries ASME Div II, UL 508A, CE, and PED certifications, meeting 21 CFR Parts 117 and 211 regulatory standards. Operations are managed via a touchscreen HMI running automated extraction routines with complete batch, operator, parameter, and lot traceability data logging. Each compact machine measures 99" L × 34" W × 72" H (24 sq. ft. footprint), weighs 4,300 lbs, and requires 208–240 VAC, 3-phase power at 67 full-load amps.
