The Keyence IM-8010 is a fully automated, non-contact optical measurement system utilizing a 20-megapixel monochrome CMOS image sensor and a double telecentric lens system. It features a 200 mm x 200 mm measurement stage and an integrated IM-8010 measuring head equipped with an electric XY stage providing 100 mm x 100 mm of travel and an electric Z-axis with 75 mm of travel. The system supports a maximum table load of 5 kg. Lighting is provided by a programmable multi-angle ring illumination system offering both incident and transmitted light. The unit is capable of measuring up to 300 features automatically. Measurement accuracy is specified at ±(7 + 0.02L) μm with stage movement, with a repeatability of ±2 μm. The system controller includes a 12.1 inch LCD display, 500 GB hard drive, and integrated measurement software with LAN and USB connectivity options. It supports offline program creation via optional editor software for high-mix production environments.
