The Quincy QSI-1500 is a premium industrial single-stage oil-injected rotary screw air compressor designed for high-capacity applications. It features oversized 321 mm rotors that operate at a slow speed of approximately 1,800 RPM to maximize efficiency and extend the airend life, which is rated for over 130,000 hours. The unit is powered by a 300 HP or 350 HP 3-phase electric motor and delivers an inlet capacity of approximately 1,500 to 1,521 ACFM. It is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled configurations, with full load operating pressures typically ranging from 100 to 125 PSIG and maximum pressures up to 140 PSIG. The compressor utilizes a triplex discharge end bearing arrangement, a triple lip shaft seal, and a gear-type fluid pump. Standard features include an axial flow inlet housing, a two-stage air/fluid separation system, a 12-micron absolute fluid filter, and a high-efficiency aftercooler capable of a 3-10 degree approach. Control is managed via a Q-Control microprocessor with a color display, supporting networking and real-time trending. Safety devices include UL-listed electrical controls, high-pressure relief valves, and a dual-probe high-temperature shutdown system. The package is mounted on a heavy-duty structural steel base and can be equipped with a sound-attenuating canopy to reduce noise levels.
