Motor Weight 15,100 lbs This motor was removed from service on 7/21/2014 and placed in the East Chicago Store Room. The motor was still operational when it was removed. The 914 #5 BLNC Motor position was upgraded to a Siemens 4000 HP, Type CGII, Frame 8010Z motor. All BLNC Motors and spares are now 4000 HP Motors. This Includes BLNCs (0, 1, 2 at Gary Lakeside; 3, 4, 5 at East Chicago; and 6, 7, 8 at Burns Harbor). This motor also served in the Burns Harbor #6 BLNC Position prior to the #5 BLNC Position at East Chicago.
