Technical Description

The AccuteX AU-9i is a precision wire EDM machine featuring five controlled axes (X, Y, U, V, Z) with travel distances of 35.4" × 23.6" × 11.8" × 3.9" × 3.9" respectively. This 11,880-pound machine operates with a 64-bit Windows CE-based CNC control system equipped with a 15" color touchscreen interface and comprehensive connectivity options including RS-232C, Ethernet, and USB ports. The system accommodates workpieces up to 54.2" × 29.9" × 11.6" weighing up to 4,890 pounds with a maximum taper angle capability of ±45°. Wire specifications include diameters ranging from 0.006" to 0.013" with tension adjustable from 300 to 2,200 grams and feed rates between 60 and 787 IPM. Featuring an automatic wire threading system with intelligent servo-control technology, the machine enables threading at wire break points for minimal downtime. The flushing-type (non-submerged) design accommodates larger workpieces and utilizes a 100-gallon deionized resin tank capacity.
