Technical Description

The Amera Seiki ABM Horizontal Machining Center is a heavy-duty 5-axis CNC machine designed for large, precision workpieces. It features a robust table measuring 70.860" x 78.700" (optional up to 78.700" x 98.430") capable of supporting up to 26,400 lbs, suitable for substantial machining operations. The spindle is horizontally oriented with a BT50 taper, delivering 60 HP (30 min rating) and reaching speeds up to 2,500 RPM (optional 2,000 RPM), ensuring strong power and rigidity for high-precision milling. The machine includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 40 tools, expandable to 90 tools, with a tool change time of 15 seconds to optimize production efficiency. Travel capacities for the primary axes are extensive: X-axis up to 78.7" (optional 236"), Y-axis 79" (optional 138"), and Z-axis 13.8" (optional 15.7"), all supported by rapid traverse rates of 236 IPM, facilitating swift material handling and processing.
