Technical Description
The Beuthling B200T is a static smooth drum roller designed for asphalt compaction and light sub-base applications, featuring a robust Kohler engine delivering reliable power. It has a compact footprint with overall dimensions of 97 inches in length, 44 inches in width, and 65 inches in height, and a wheelbase of 66.5 inches. The roller has a 72-inch inside turning radius, enabling tight maneuverability. It uses tandem steel drums: the front drum is 30 inches wide and 24 inches in diameter, while the rear drum is wider at 41 inches and 28 inches in diameter, both with 0.5-inch thick machined steel shells filled for ballast. The operating width is 44 inches, with an adjustable gravity-fed drum spray system using a 50-gallon polyethylene water tank to prevent asphalt buildup. The machine weighs 4,150 pounds when fully ballasted with an operator and 2,500 pounds unballasted. It has a top travel speed of 5 mph, driven by a hydrostatic drive system with mechanical automotive-type steering. Dynamic braking is provided by the hydrostatic drive, alongside a mechanical parking brake on the rear drum. Operator comfort and safety are enhanced with a high-back adjustable bucket seat, hourmeter, voltmeter, low engine oil indicator, neutral start switch, and options for rollover protection (ROPS), work lights, and vandal protection. Fuel capacity is 5 gallons. The B200T is engineered for efficient static compaction, producing smooth, durable pavement surfaces with precision and ease in confined spaces.
