Technical Description
The BOKO VH 5/15 Vertical Machining Center is a high-capacity, multi-axis CNC machine designed for heavy-duty machining applications. Featuring a robust table size of 94.500 inches in length by 55.100 inches in width, it supports maximum workpiece weights up to 26,400 lbs, making it ideal for large and heavy components. The vertical spindle utilizes a #50 taper, delivering high torque and rigidity for demanding cutting operations, with a maximum spindle speed of 5,600 RPM and a 39 HP (30-minute rating) motor for sustained performance. Tooling is managed manually, providing flexibility for specialized setups, and the machine does not feature an automatic tool changer. The VH 5/15 is equipped with six axes of motion, including X, Y, Z, A, and B, enabling complex 5-axis simultaneous machining and precise angular positioning. Axis travels are extensive, with X-axis movement up to 118.100 inches, Y-axis up to 76.800 inches, and Z-axis up to 64.900 inches, accommodating large work envelopes. All axes offer a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 590 inches per minute, ensuring efficient material removal and reduced cycle times. The A-axis provides 200° rotation, while the B-axis offers full 360° rotation, supporting versatile workpiece orientations. This machining center is engineered for high accuracy, rigidity, and productivity in industries requiring precision and heavy cutting capacity.
