CASE W18 WHEEL LOADER

The Case W18 is a robust wheel loader designed for demanding construction and industrial applications. It features a 6-cylinder Case A401BD diesel engine with a displacement of 401 cu in (6.6L), delivering 114 hp (85 kW) gross power and 103 hp (77 kW) net power at 220 rpm, with peak torque of 298 lb-ft at 1450 rpm. The loader is equipped with a 4-speed power shift transmission, providing four forward and two reverse gears, with a maximum forward speed of 23 mph (37 km/h) and reverse speed of 9.5 mph (14 km/h). The hydraulic system operates with a two-element dry-type air cleaner, and offers a dump time of 3.5 seconds, lower time of 1.7 seconds, and raise time of 6.1 seconds. The W18 has a heaped bucket capacity of 1.8 cu yds (1 m³) and a struck capacity of 1.5 cu yds (1 m³), with a dump clearance of 9.2 ft (3 m) at maximum raise. Key dimensions include a length with bucket on ground of 19.2 ft (6 m), a wheelbase of 9 ft (3 m), a width over tires of 7.4 ft (2 m), and a height to the top of the cab of 10.4 ft (3 m).
