CAT 120M2 AWD MOTOR GRADERS

The 2015 CAT 120M2 AWD Motor Grader features joystick controls for precise operation of implements, steering, and transmission, enhancing operator comfort and productivity. It is powered by a CAT C7.1 diesel engine—an inline 6-cylinder, 4-stroke cycle, turbocharged and aftercooled unit with approximately 7.01 to 7.2 liters (402.8 to 438 in³) displacement, 4.0 to 4.33 inches bore, and 5.0 to 5.31 inches stroke. Engine output ranges from 172 to 320 hp, with maximum torque up to 935 lb-ft at 1400 rpm, operating at rated speeds of 1800 to 2200 rpm, and meeting Tier 4 Final/Stage V emissions standards. The grader is equipped with a 14-foot moldboard and a blade beam thickness of 2 inches. It has a base GVW of approximately 33,294 lb, with a maximum GVW up to 41,603 lb, and achieves a top forward speed of 31.4 mph and reverse speed of 24.8 mph. The hydraulic system is closed-center, parallel circuit, with a variable piston pump delivering up to 3500 psi and flow rates around 40.9 gal/min. Steering includes a front steering angle of up to 47.5° and a frame articulation angle of 20° left or right, with a front axle lean angle of 18° left and right. Hydraulic cylinder lengths vary from 18 to 31 inches depending on function.
