The Caterpillar 988K Wheel Loader is a high-performance, large-capacity machine engineered for demanding material handling applications. Powered by a Cat C18 ACERT engine, it delivers 541 hp (403 kW) net power and 580 hp (433 kW) gross power, with peak torque of 2104 lb-ft at 1,200 rpm and a torque rise of 58%. The engine meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final and EU Stage IV emissions standards.
