This vertical machining center features a 12.6" x 15.7" worktable designed to support workpieces up to 220 lbs. It offers a 5-axis configuration with travel ranges of 29.5" (X), 24" (Y), and 21.7" (Z), along with a rotary A-axis capable of 150 degrees. The spindle operates vertically with a CT40 taper standard and an optional BT40 taper, reaching a top speed of 12,000 RPM standard and optionally up to 15,000 RPM. The spindle is powered by a 20 HP motor rated for 30-minute intervals, enabling high-speed, high-power machining. Tool handling is automated by a 31-position automatic tool changer (ATC) with a rapid tool change time of 1.8 seconds and a chip-to-chip time of 4 seconds. Maximum feed rates along linear axes attain 394 inches per minute, with rapid traverse at 1,417 inches per minute, enhancing machining efficiency. The machine does not include support for rotary or indexing tables, nor does it have a pallet changer or U-axis.
