A+Technical Description
The Cincinnati T-35 is a 5-axis CNC horizontal machining center engineered for precision production work. Featuring dual 31.5" x 31.5" pallets with rapid 8-12 second changeover times, this machine enables continuous operation and minimal downtime. The work envelope provides 60" travel on both X and Y axes and 62" on the Z-axis, accommodating workpieces up to 50" in diameter. The spindle delivers 40 HP with speeds up to 4,000 RPM and utilizes a CAT 50 taper for tool compatibility. Full 5-axis simultaneous motion capability includes a tilting A-axis spindle head (±150°) and full B-axis pallet rotation (360°), enabling complex multi-sided part machining. The automatic tool changer accommodates up to 130 tools with .001" N/C contouring indexing accuracy across 360,000 positions. Each pallet supports maximum loads of 4,500 lbs and mounts on four tapered cones for exceptional positioning accuracy. The Acramatic 950 or 905 CNC control system provides torque-controlled machining and direct binary code exchange without post-processor requirements. Additional features include through-spindle coolant delivery, linear feedback scales on all linear axes, AC servos on all motion axes, automatic tool recovery, and an integrated chip conveyor. The machine weighs approximately 55,000 lbs and requires 460/3/60 electrical service, making it suitable for high-volume aerospace, automotive, and medical component manufacturing requiring superior accuracy and repeatability.
