The Clausing Metosa 24" CNC Horizontal Machining Center features a robust main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 22.83" and a turning length capacity of up to 80", supported by a 22" diameter chuck. It offers a maximum spindle swing of 24.4" and operates on a single spindle configuration delivering up to 2,500 RPM and 15 HP. The primary tool carrier is a turret type, accommodating up to 8 tools with one simultaneous cutting tool capability. This 3-axis machine provides precise X, Y, and Z travels of 16.34", 16.34", and 40" respectively, with an optional Z axis travel extension to 80". The axes support high feed rates and rapid traverse speeds: max feed rates reach 276 inches per minute (ipm), while rapid traverses achieve up to 393 ipm, facilitating efficient and accurate machining processes.
