This vertical machining center features a robust 165" x 65" standard table, expandable to 165" x 96" for larger workpieces, supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 26,500 lbs. It operates on a 3-axis setup with travels of 165.3" (X), 70.8" or optional 98.0" (Y), and 35.4" or optional 29.0" (Z), all capable of rapid traverse speeds up to 393 inches per minute. The vertical spindle is equipped with a CAT 50 taper, optionally CAT 40, providing a top spindle speed of 4,500 RPM standard, upgradeable to 6,000 RPM, driven by a 30 HP motor rated for 30 minutes continuous use. The tool management system includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) capable of holding 24 tools, with an option to expand to 32 tools, achieving tool change times of approximately 2.5 seconds. No pallet or rotary table supports are included. Feed rates match rapid traverse speeds, enabling efficient high-speed machining.
