CUBIC SD-20 HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER

The CUBIC SD-20 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-precision, versatile CNC lathe designed for efficient production of medium-sized parts. Featuring a maximum main spindle turning diameter and bar capacity of 0.780", and a maximum turning length of 8.850" on both main and sub spindles, the SD-20 delivers robust performance for demanding applications. The main spindle operates at up to 10,000 RPM with 3.0 HP, while the sub spindle runs at 6,000 RPM with 3.0 HP, enabling fast and accurate machining. The machine is equipped with two tool carriers: a top slide front with up to 10 turning tools and 6 rotary tools (2.0 HP, 6,000 RPM), and an ID slide front-rear with up to 10 turning tools and 3 rotary tools (2.0 HP, 6,000 RPM). Up to three tools can operate simultaneously, maximizing productivity. The SD-20 supports secondary milling and drilling functions both on-center and off-center, with standard C-axis and Y-axis capabilities for complex part geometries. With a total of 7 axes, the machine offers advanced flexibility for intricate machining tasks.
