A+Technical Description
The Dah Lih MCH-500 Horizontal Machining Center is a robust and versatile CNC machine designed for high-precision production environments. Featuring a 20.000" x 20.000" table, it supports workpieces up to 1,760 lbs, making it suitable for heavy-duty machining tasks. The standard support index table enhances flexibility, while an optional rotary table allows for expanded multi-sided machining capabilities. The horizontal spindle utilizes a CAT 50 taper, delivering reliable tool holding and compatibility with a wide range of cutting tools. With a maximum spindle speed of 6,000 RPM and a 30 HP (30-minute rating) motor, the MCH-500 provides ample power for demanding applications. Tool management is streamlined with a standard 60-tool automatic tool changer (ATC), expandable to 120 tools for increased productivity. The machine comes equipped with a standard two-pallet changer, with an option for up to six pallets, enabling continuous operation and reduced downtime. The MCH-500 offers three standard axes (X, Y, Z) with an optional fourth axis (B), allowing for complex part geometries. Axis travels are 29.500" (X), 26.800" (Y), and 23.600" (Z), with a B-axis rotation of 360°. Maximum feed rates reach 197 ipm, and rapid traverse speeds are 590 ipm on all linear axes, ensuring fast and efficient machining cycles. This machine combines durability, precision, and flexibility for a wide range of industrial machining needs.
