Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a 27.56" x 15.75" worktable supporting up to 551 lbs of workpiece weight. Its spindle is vertically oriented with a #30 taper, delivering a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM, optionally up to 15,000 RPM, powered by a 7.5 HP motor rated for 30 minutes. The machine is equipped with an automatic tool changer (ATC) that holds 14 tools standard, with an option for 21 tools. Tool change time is 1.3 seconds, with an additional 2.1 seconds for chip change. The machine operates on 3 axes: X, Y, and Z, with travel distances of 23.62", 15.75", and 13.77" respectively. All axes have rapid traverse rates of up to 2,205 inches per minute, enabling efficient and fast machining operations. This setup is ideal for precision vertical milling tasks requiring high spindle speeds and quick tool changes within a moderate workspace and weight capacity.
