The DMC Q6-2S Horizontal Machining Center is a dual-spindle, two-axis CNC machine designed for high-efficiency turning and milling operations. Featuring two main spindles, each capable of 6,000 RPM and 10 HP, the machine enables simultaneous machining on both spindles, significantly increasing productivity. The main spindle turning diameter reaches a maximum of 6.690", with a turning length up to 11.810" and a chuck diameter of 6.000", allowing for versatile workpiece handling. The maximum swing diameter is 19.290", accommodating larger parts with ease. Each spindle is paired with a gang tool carrier, supporting up to six turning tools and enabling two tools to cut simultaneously for complex operations. The X-axis travel is 17.720" with a rapid traverse and max feed rate of 1,181 ipm, while the Z-axis travel is 12.600" and also achieves a rapid traverse of 1,181 ipm, ensuring fast and precise movements.
