Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a robust table measuring 39.4 inches in length by 23.6 inches in width, capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,764 lbs. The machine is equipped with a high-speed vertical spindle, delivering a maximum speed of 20,000 RPM and an optional top speed of 30,000 RPM, powered by a 17.4 HP motor (30-minute rating). Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 20 tools, expandable to 60 tools as an option. The machine operates on three primary axes (X, Y, Z), with an optional fourth axis for enhanced flexibility. Axis travels are 35.4 inches (X), 23.6 inches (Y), and 17.7 inches (Z), each supporting a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 787 inches per minute. The system does not include a U axis. Support for an index table is not provided, but a rotary table can be added as an option. A pallet changer is also available for increased productivity.
