The U axis is optional, allowing for additional flexibility in complex machining operations. Tooling is managed manually with a single tool carrier, supporting one tool standard and one optional tool, with no automated tool change chip time. A pallet changer is available as an option, supporting one standard pallet and up to three optional pallets for increased productivity.
