Technical Description

The Dynapac CC425 is a high-performance double drum vibratory roller designed for efficient compaction in road construction and similar applications. It features 1690 mm wide steel drums with a shell thickness of 17 mm and a diameter of 1220 mm, providing a static linear load of approximately 28 kg/cm. The roller delivers powerful compaction forces with centrifugal forces of up to 130 kN and variable vibration frequencies at 36 and 54 Hz. Its nominal amplitudes range from 0.9 mm to 0.4 mm, optimized for compacting both thin and thick asphalt layers. Powered by a robust 76 hp (57 kW) Kirloskar 4R1040TC turbocharged, intercooler, BSIII diesel engine, the CC425 ensures reliable and efficient operations. This engine runs at 2200 rpm, meeting applicable emission standards. The roller boasts a maximum operating mass around 9200 kg and a maximum travel speed of 7.5 mph (12 km/h), with a maximum gradeability of 39%, enabling effective operation on slopes. The CC425 includes a water spray tank with a capacity around 250 liters to prevent asphalt adhesion during compaction, and a fuel tank capacity near 180 liters for extended operation. The hydraulic system employs axial piston pumps with variable displacement for driving and vibration, with hydrostatic service brakes and failsafe multidisc parking brakes for safety and control.
