The ECHOENG CL 850 is a compact 3-axis vertical machining center designed for precision mold making and mechanical processing. The machining envelope provides 850mm of X-axis travel, 550mm of Y-axis, and 550mm of Z-axis clearance, accommodating workpieces up to modest dimensions. Powered by an 11kW (14.75 hp) motor driving a BT40 spindle, the CL 850 achieves maximum speeds of 8,000 rpm with rapid traverse rates of 24 m/min on X and Y axes and 20 m/min on Z. Positioning accuracy reaches ±0.005mm with repeatability of ±0.003mm, ensuring consistent dimensional tolerance across production runs. The 24-tool arm automatic tool changer accommodates tools up to 80/120mm diameter and 8kg weight, minimizing setup time and maximizing productivity.
