This CNC lathe features a swing of 13.78 inches, providing ample clearance for turning operations on medium-sized workpieces. It is equipped with the FANUC 0i-TD control system, a reliable and widely used CNC platform designed for precision and ease of operation in turning applications. The FANUC 0i-TD supports up to four simultaneously controlled axes, with up to three axes available if a contouring spindle is configured, enabling complex machining tasks. The control offers digital servo functionality, flexible axis naming (X, Z, Y, A, B, C), and supports both inch and metric input increments, with fine acceleration and deceleration control for smooth motion. Rapid traverse rates are available up to 240 meters per minute (at 1μm resolution) or 100 meters per minute (at 0.1μm resolution), with selectable override settings for rapid and cutting feeds.
