The Eurotech Rapido B438-Y2 is a high-performance CNC lathe equipped with a Mitsubishi M730 VS-L control unit featuring a 10.4" color LCD display and advanced machining capabilities. This machine accommodates bar stock up to 1.5" in diameter and features an 8" chuck for secure workholding. With a maximum turning diameter of 3.94" and 11.5" distance between centers, it delivers precise cylindrical and complex part machining. The main spindle operates at 7,000 RPM with 15 HP motor power, complemented by a synchronized sub-spindle at identical speed for simultaneous two-spindle operations. The machine incorporates dual 12-station live tooling turrets with rapid 0.10-second indexing, enabling versatile cutting operations including rigid tapping across all spindles. The integrated C-axis live tooling and independent Y-axis slides provide enhanced flexibility for complex geometries and off-center machining. Advanced control features include SSS (Super Smooth Surface) control for optimized tool paths, Nano Interpolation for 1nm command increments, and OMR control for high-speed accuracy. The 45° slant bed design maximizes rigidity for heavy machining applications. A programmable parts catcher with integrated chip conveyor system ensures efficient debris management and unattended production capability.
