Technical Description

The Emmegi Phantomatic M3 is a 3-axis vertical CNC machining center designed for high-precision machining of aluminum, PVC, light alloys, and steel up to 2 mm thickness. It features a large X-axis travel of approximately 118.11 inches, combined with Y and Z travels of 10.79 inches and 15.35 inches respectively, accommodating long bars or profiles. The spindle incorporates an automatic tool slewing system with three fixed rotary positions, enabling efficient machining on three sides of the workpiece without manual repositioning. Workpiece positioning is ensured by a pneumatic stop on the left side and secured by four robust clamps automatically positioned via the X-axis slider, with an optional second stop allowing extended machining lengths up to twice the standard capacity. The machine includes a manual tool magazine with nine slots, expandable with additional automatic tool storage magazines for increased versatility. A movable work plane facilitates easier loading and unloading and expands the effective machining area. The CNC axes utilize absolute encoders to maintain position accuracy after restarts. The spindle is capable of speeds up to 20,000 rpm, driven by a 4 kW motor in continuous duty, enabling heavy-duty processing. The Phantomatic M3 is equipped with an operator-friendly touchscreen interface, optional remote control, and barcode reader for streamlined workflow integration. This machining center is optimal for industries requiring precision, flexibility, and efficient multi-side processing of profiles and bars.
