The FEMCO BMC-110R is a high-capacity horizontal machining center designed for precision milling and boring of large workpieces. It features a robust work table measuring 49" x 44" capable of supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 8,818 pounds. The machine is equipped with a powerful horizontal spindle featuring a CAT 50 taper (optionally BT 50) and delivers up to 2,500 RPM with a 35 HP motor rated for 30-minute duty cycles, enabling efficient heavy cutting operations. It includes a 60-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) with an optional 90-tool capacity and a tool change time of 15 seconds, supporting high productivity and reduced downtime. The machine operates with 4 axes as standard (X, Y, Z, and B rotary axis) with optional 5-axis capability for complex machining tasks. Axis travels are 55.12" in X, 47.24" in Y, 43.31" in Z, and 360° in the B-axis rotary table. It has rapid traverse rates of 394 inches per minute across all linear axes.
