The FFG MAG SPECHT 500 is a high-performance horizontal CNC machining center designed for precision and efficiency in complex manufacturing tasks. The machine is equipped with two horizontal main spindles, each with an HSK-A-63 taper (optional HSK 100), delivering up to 16,000 RPM and 33.3 HP (30-minute rating). It includes an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 40 tools, expandable up to 100, enabling rapid 2.8-second tool changes. A standard pallet changer accommodates two pallets, with options for up to four pallets, optimizing production flow. The machine operates on a 4-axis system with optional 5-axis capability, featuring travels of 24.8" in X and Y axes, and up to 33.85" in Z (35.43" optional), while rotary axes provide 225° (A-axis) and full 360° (B-axis) rotation. Rapid traverse rates reach 2,358 inches per minute for efficient positioning.
