The FORD SM 455 Motor Grader is a robust, high-performance machine designed for demanding road construction and grading tasks. It features a 14-foot blade with a 23-inch blade height, a circle diameter of 71.7 inches, and a maximum lift above ground of 18.9 inches, providing precise control and versatility. The grader’s overall length is 28.58 feet, with a width over tires of 8.08 feet and a wheelbase of 20.24 feet, ensuring stability and maneuverability. The Isomount cab offers a height of 10.24 feet, while the rear ground clearance is 24.3 feet, allowing for efficient operation on varied terrain. The blade can tip forward up to 40° and backward up to 5°, with center and side shift capabilities for accurate grading. The rear scarifier has a working width of 84.1 inches, a maximum depth of 11.1 inches, and nine shanks spaced at 9.8 inches.
