Technical Description

The Fortune VCENTER-H500 Horizontal Machining Center is a robust, mid-sized CNC machine designed for heavy-duty precision machining. It features a 19.6" x 19.68" (500 x 500 mm) T-slot table capable of supporting workpieces up to 1,760 lbs (800 kg). The machine includes a standard index rotary table and supports up to a 3-axis configuration, with an optional 4th axis (B-axis) offering full 360° rotation. Axis travels are 28.34" (X), 25.59" (Y), and 28.34" (Z), with rapid traverse rates up to 1,179 ipm on all axes. The horizontal spindle has a BT-50 taper, with a standard top speed of 6,000 rpm powered by a 20 HP motor (30 HP optional). High-speed spindle options up to 14,000 rpm are available, catering to varying machining needs. Tool handling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard 40-tool capacity, expandable to 120 tools, and a tool change time of 4.1 seconds. A dual-pallet changer is standard, reducing downtime and enhancing productivity. The machine construction uses heavy-duty linear guides for precision and rigidity, suitable for demanding production environments. It features Fanuc CNC control, integrated pallet changers with hydraulic interfaces, and support for multi-pallet systems, making it versatile for complex manufacturing tasks. The VCENTER-H500 balances high torque, speed, and large work envelope with fast tool and pallet changeover times, ideal for precision mold, die, and general machining applications.
