The GEN MILL 5X-24 Vertical Machining Center is a high-speed, full 5-axis CNC machining solution designed for precision and productivity. It features a robust traveling column structure with a rotary tilt-table design, providing X, Y, and Z axis travels of 24.41 inches, 20.47 inches, and 18.11 inches, respectively. The machine is equipped with a 15,000 RPM inline direct-drive beltless “Big-Plus” spindle, delivering high torque and accuracy for demanding applications. The spindle supports CAT #40 taper tools, with optional BT #40 and HSK-63 configurations, and is paired with a 60-tool high-speed twin-arm automatic tool changer for rapid tool exchange and minimal downtime. Precision glass-scale feedback is integrated on all linear and rotary axes (X, Y, Z, B, and C), ensuring exceptional repeatability and positioning accuracy. The machine utilizes a roller-bearing style heavy-duty linear way system on all axes for smooth, stable movement and long-term durability.
