Technical Description
The Genie GTH636 is a heavy-duty telehandler designed for demanding lifting applications in construction, landscaping, and agriculture. Powered by a 74 hp (55 kW) turbocharged Deutz 1104C-44T diesel engine, this machine meets Tier 4f emissions standards and delivers reliable performance in rugged environments. The engine is mounted on the right side for improved operator visibility and requires no scheduled service for its DOC aftertreatment system. The GTH636 features a robust chassis and boom, with a maximum lift capacity of 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg) and a maximum lift height of 36 ft (10.97 m). At full height, it can lift 5,000 lbs (2,268 kg), and at maximum forward reach of 21 ft (6.4 m), it can handle 1,500 lbs (680 kg). The boom cycle times are efficient, with boom up in 10 seconds, boom down in 8 seconds, extend in 11 seconds, and retract in 9 seconds. The telehandler is equipped with four-wheel drive, a powershift transmission with three forward and three reverse gears, and a top travel speed of 18 mph (29 kph). The hydraulic system provides 15 gpm auxiliary flow at 3,000 psi, with a variable displacement pump and a relief valve set at 2,800 psi. Standard features include a multi-function proportional joystick, frame-leveling chassis, and a fully enclosed cab with air conditioning. The machine has a wheelbase of 11 ft (3.35 m), a width over tires of 8 ft (2.44 m), and a turning radius of 14.5 ft (4.42 m). The operating weight is 20,999.1 lbs (9,525 kg), and the fuel tank holds 30.2 gallons (114.3 L).
