This vertical machining center features a 40" x 14" precision ground work table with a maximum workpiece capacity of 500 lbs, supporting medium-duty machining tasks efficiently. It is equipped with a vertical spindle compatible with CT/40 taper, with an optional BT/40 taper, capable of speeds up to 10,000 RPM driven by a 15 HP motor rated for 30-minute duty cycles to provide strong cutting performance. The machine supports three axes (X, Y, Z) with travels of 20", 16", and 14" respectively, each axis delivering a maximum feed rate of 833 IPM and rapid traverse rates up to 1,200 IPM, enabling rapid and accurate positioning. Tooling is managed via a 10-station carousel automatic tool changer (ATC), optimizing tool changes for increased efficiency during operations. This CNC vertical mill does not include a U axis or pallet changer, focusing on essential vertical machining functionality.
