Technical Description
This CNC machining center features a robust working envelope with X, Y, and Z axis travels of 30", 20", and 20" respectively, enabling versatile 3-axis machining capabilities. It offers high-speed rapid traverse rates up to 1,200 inches per minute (IPM) on all linear axes, optimizing cycle times for increased productivity. The machine supports a maximum table load of 660 lbs on a 24.8" x 19.7" table, suitable for heavy workpieces. Powered by a 30 HP spindle motor, it delivers spindle speeds up to 15,000 RPM through a 40 CT taper, facilitating high-precision, high-speed cutting operations.
Tool management is handled by a 50+1 position automatic tool changer (ATC), accommodating tools up to 2.5" in diameter, 12" in length, and 12 lbs in weight, with quick tool-to-tool and chip-to-chip times of 2.8 and 3.6 seconds respectively. Maximum cutting feed rates reach 650 IPM supported by substantial thrust forces of 2,750 lbf on X and Y axes and 3,400 lbf on Z axis, ensuring effective material removal.
