A+Technical Description
This vertical machining center features a robust 84" x 36" table and offers substantial travel capacities with 84" in X, 40" in Y, and 42" in Z axes, accommodating large workpieces and complex machining tasks. It delivers rapid traverse rates up to 600 IPM and cutting feed rates of 500 IPM, ensuring efficient material removal. The spindle utilizes an HSK63 taper type, driven by a powerful 24 HP motor capable of speeds up to 20,000 RPM for high-speed machining applications. Tool management is supported by a side-mount tool changer with a large 50.1-tool capacity, enabling extended machining cycles without interruption. The machine control system incorporates advanced functionality such as coordinate rotation and scaling, rigid tapping, spindle orientation, dynamic work offsets, and tool center point control for precision and flexibility. Connectivity features include Ethernet/LAN, WiFi, and HaasConnect remote monitoring, enhancing integration and real-time supervision. The user interface includes a control touchscreen and a large remote jog handle with touchscreen display for intuitive operation. Additional machine features include an 8" extended Z-axis clearance, high intensity lighting, wireless intuitive probing with a Renishaw probe, chip management with a chip auger, tray filter kit, and window air blast, plus surge protection and a low-voltage transformer for electrical safety. Optional CNC control cabinet cooling preserves system reliability under heavy operation. This setup is designed for high-performance, productive, and reliable machining across diverse applications.
