The HACO-FAT FTM1000 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance CNC lathe engineered for heavy-duty precision machining. It features a main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 39.000" (990mm) and a maximum turning length of 472.000" (12,000mm), accommodating large workpieces with ease. The main spindle chuck diameter is 25.000" (635mm), supporting robust workholding, while the maximum bar diameter is 5.500" (140mm). The machine is equipped with a single main spindle, capable of 1,800 RPM and powered by a 50 HP motor, ensuring high-speed and high-torque performance. A sub-spindle is available with 40 HP for added versatility in complex operations. The primary tool carrier is VDI 60, supporting up to 12 turning tools and 12 rotary tools, each rotary tool powered by a 25 HP motor. A secondary tool carrier (VDI 70) provides up to 9 additional turning tools. The machine allows for one simultaneous cutting tool operation and operates on three axes, ensuring precise and efficient machining.
