The HAMM H7i is a self-propelled vibratory smooth drum roller designed for efficient compaction in earthwork and landfill applications. It features a smooth steel drum with a width of 66 inches (1680 mm), diameter of 47.9 inches (1216 mm), and a thickness of 1 inch (25 mm). The drum produces vibration frequencies of 30 and 42 vibrations per minute, generating centrifugal forces of up to 28,101 lbs (125 kN) on high amplitude and 21,357 lbs (95 kN) on low amplitude, enabling effective soil and granular material compaction. Powered by a 4-cylinder Kubota diesel engine delivering 73.3 hp (54 kW), the H7i offers a working speed of up to 6 mph and a transport speed of 12 mph. The articulated steering and three-point swivel joint provide a tight inside turning radius of 139 inches (3310 mm) and excellent maneuverability on challenging sites, enhanced by hydraulic anti-slip control for superior hill climbing ability up to 40%.
