A+Technical Description
The HAUTAU RC60 Horizontal Machining Center is a high-performance tube cutoff lathe designed for precise and efficient processing of tubes up to 7" in diameter. It features a single main spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 7.000" and turning length capacity up to 240.000". The main spindle supports bars up to 3.000" in diameter and is equipped with an 18.000" diameter chuck. The spindle operates at up to 510 RPM and delivers 30 HP, ensuring robust machining performance. The machine includes a primary tool carrier with a 4-bolt pocket configuration, accommodating up to four turning and four rotary tools simultaneously, each rotary tool rated at 30 HP and 510 RPM. This enables simultaneous multi-tool cutting for high productivity. The RC60 offers two axes of control for precise machining operations. Integrated features such as hydraulic chucking provide fast, repeatable tubing clamping. Its rotating-head design allows the tube to remain stationary while the cutting tools move, reducing vibration, noise, and surface marking. The machine supports complex machining tasks including cutoff, chamfering, radiusing, grooving, facing, and boring, with programmable chamfer depths and multiple cut lengths for optimal material utilization. Servo-controlled tube feeding with dual servo hitch-feeders enhances cutting speed and accuracy, allowing for automated remnant handling and quick changeover between tube diameters. Its flexibility and rugged build make it well-suited for high-volume production of tubular parts requiring close tolerances and complex endfinishing operations.
