A+Technical Description
The Heckert H50 is a four-axis horizontal machining center engineered for high-precision, space-efficient production. This compact universal machining center features X, Y, and Z travel distances of 700mm, 750mm, and 780mm respectively, accommodating workpieces up to 750mm in extended contour diameter with a maximum loading capacity of 800kg. The machine utilizes an HSK-A63 taper toolholder with a timing belt magazine offering up to 80 pockets, enabling rapid tool changes and minimizing non-productive time. Equipped with CNC control—available in Siemens Sinumerik ONE, Sinumerik 840D sl, or Fanuc 31i configurations—the H50 delivers spindle speeds up to 20,000 rpm with motor spindle variants and 10,000 rpm with hollow shaft options. The twin-pallet configuration allows continuous production with one pallet working inside the machine while the other undergoes unload or reset operations, enabling lights-out machining capability. Rapid traverse rates of 80m/min and X/Y/Z acceleration of up to 9.5m/s² ensure high-performance productivity. With a machine footprint of 6,750mm length by 2,670mm width, the H50 represents a space-saving solution without compromising on power or reliability. Heavy-duty cutting components are specifically designed for demanding applications involving tough materials, delivering a 45% productivity gain through reduced non-productive time and optimized spindle performance. The machine maintains Starrag's stringent quality standards and is available for immediate delivery with multiple control and spindle configurations.
