The Heckert X40 is a high-performance five-axis horizontal machining center designed for precision and efficiency in demanding industrial environments. It features an X-axis travel of 27.559 inches (700 mm), Y-axis travel of 29.528 inches (750 mm), and Z-axis travel of 29.528 inches (750 mm), providing a large workspace within a compact footprint. The machine is equipped with an HSK-A63 spindle taper, supporting high-speed machining with up to 30,000 rpm and torque values reaching 350 Nm, ensuring rapid material removal and excellent surface finishes. Its CNC control system incorporates Starrag’s intuitive human-machine interface (HMI), enabling efficient programming and operation while supporting both left- and right-handed use with adjustable inclination and height. The Heckert X40 offers a pallet changer for increased flexibility, with a pallet dimension of 400 x 400 mm (400 x 500 mm optional) and a loading mass capacity of 400 kg.
