The spindle is horizontally oriented with an HSK-A100 taper, capable of up to 8,000 RPM standard and optionally up to 15,000 RPM, powered by an 80 HP motor (30-minute rating). This spindle integrates a gearbox delivering up to 1,146 Nm torque for heavy-duty cutting while maintaining thermal stability through permanent cooling. The machine offers a 5-axis configuration with 1000 mm travels on each X, Y, and Z axis at rapid traverse rates of 65 ipm, enabling flexible and precise 5-sided machining with a 350° swivel head for wide angular coverage. Tool change times are optimized to 4 seconds via a high-dynamic NC tool changer compatible with chain- or rack-type tool magazines accommodating up to 150 HSK-A100 tools, reducing idle time for enhanced productivity.
