The HEM DC-2038RBI Horizontal Band Saw is engineered for precision cutting with a maximum capacity of 20 inches for round materials at 90, 45, and 30 degrees, and rectangular materials up to 20 inches high by 38 inches wide at 90 degrees, 24 inches wide at 45 degrees, and 16 inches wide at 30 degrees. It features a robust 15 HP blade motor with infinite speed settings ranging from 65 to 350 FPM, ensuring versatility for various cutting applications. The saw is equipped with a hydraulic blade tension system and powered guide arm, enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy. The 28-inch blade wheels support a blade size of 2 inches by 0.062 inches by 24 feet 6 inches, while carbide blade guides ensure durability and precision. The hydraulic head lift and 5 HP hydraulic motor facilitate smooth operation, complemented by a flood coolant system for optimal cutting conditions. The machine includes four hydraulic vises for secure material clamping and is controlled via a free-standing console. Designed for 220/440 volt 3-phase power, the saw is currently wired for 440 volts, making it suitable for industrial environments.
