Technical Description

This vertical machining center features a robust table measuring 45.270 inches by 45.270 inches, capable of supporting workpieces up to 4,409 lbs, with an optional smaller table size of 27.550 inches by 27.550 inches. The machine is equipped with a standard rotary table for enhanced versatility, while an index table is not included. The spindle is vertically oriented, offering a standard SK50 taper and an optional HSK A100 taper, with a maximum spindle speed of 9,000 RPM (upgradable to 12,000 RPM). The spindle delivers a 30-minute horsepower rating of 75 HP, with an optional 54 HP configuration. Tooling is managed by an automatic tool changer (ATC), supporting 60 tools as standard and up to 162 tools as an option, with a chip-to-chip tool change time of 7 seconds. A pallet changer is available as an optional feature. The machine operates on five axes, with an optional four-axis configuration, and includes no U axis. Axis travels are 39.370 inches (X), 43.310 inches (Y), and 29.520 inches (Z), with an A-axis rotation of 230 degrees. Maximum feed rates and rapid traverse speeds for all linear axes are 2,362 inches per minute, ensuring efficient and precise machining operations.
