THE MACHINE IS TYPICALLY POWERED BY A GM 4.3L V6 LPG ENGINE, THOUGH DIESEL AND GASOLINE OPTIONS WERE ALSO MANUFACTURED. POWER IS DELIVERED THROUGH A DANA THREE-SPEED AUTOMATIC POWERSHIFT TRANSMISSION AND AN AXLETECH HEAVY-DUTY PLANETARY DRIVE AXLE. STANDARD SAFETY AND ERGONOMIC FEATURES INCLUDE A TILT-STEERING COLUMN, DUAL BRAKE PEDALS WITH INCHING CONTROL, A SPRING-APPLIED HYDRAULIC-RELEASE PARKING BRAKE, AND AN OVERHEAD GUARD MEETING ANSI B56.1 FOPS STANDARDS. THE LIFTING ASSEMBLY UTILIZES A HIGH-VISIBILITY MAST, OFTEN CONFIGURED AS A TWO-STAGE OR TRIPLEX (THREE-STAGE) UNIT, WITH IMPACT-RESISTANT MAIN AND SIDE THRUST ROLLERS. MANEUVERABILITY IS FACILITATED BY A COMPACT 80-INCH WHEELBASE AND AN INDUSTRIAL STEER AXLE WITH A DUAL-ACTION BOLT-ON CYLINDER.
