Technical Description

The Horkos HFN-C50H is a horizontal machining center designed for precision and heavy-duty machining. It features a robust work table measuring 32.0" x 20.0" with a maximum workpiece weight capacity of 2,650 lbs, accommodating substantial and complex parts. The machine is equipped with a horizontal spindle using an HSK-A100 taper, enabling secure and highly precise tool holding at spindle speeds up to 4,500 RPM. The spindle delivers 25 HP (30-minute rating), ensuring powerful cutting performance. Tool handling is optimized via an automatic tool changer (ATC) with a standard capacity of 24 tools and an optional upgrade to 40 tools, allowing efficient multi-tool operations. Tool change time is 2.5 seconds, with an additional 4 seconds for chip removal during tool change cycles, facilitating rapid machining sequences. The HFN-C50H operates on a three-axis configuration (X=19.7", Y=19.7", Z=22") with a maximum rapid traverse and feed rate of 1,180 inches per minute, providing high-speed, precise positioning capabilities.
