The HURON MU TECH 6 is a sophisticated 5-axis CNC vertical machining center designed for complex component manufacturing in modern machine shops. This simultaneous 5-axis machine features a heavy, rigid cast iron structure with excellent anti-damping properties, ensuring superior geometrical stability and precision during high-speed operations. The machine delivers impressive axis travels of 750mm (X-axis), 560mm (Y-axis), and 560mm (Z-axis), accommodating workpieces up to Ø800mm diameter and 550mm height. The 12,000 RPM electro-spindle enables rapid material removal with rapid traverse rates of 30m/min across all axes, achieving positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm and repeatability of ±0.005mm. A defining feature is the swiveling head with +30°/-120° B-axis rotation, enabling simultaneous 5-axis machining and eliminating the need for multiple setups on complex parts.
