This vertical machining center features a 19.7" x 19.7" (500 x 500 mm) worktable capable of supporting workpieces up to 661 lbs (300 kg). It is equipped with a vertical spindle accepting #40 taper tooling, with an optional HSK-F63 taper. The spindle offers a top speed of 20,000 RPM as standard, upgradeable to 30,000 RPM, driven by a 30 HP (30-minute rating) motor, enabling high-speed, precision machining. The machine utilizes a 30-station automatic tool changer (ATC) with a quick tool change time of 1.2 seconds, optimizing production efficiency. An optional dual-pallet changer system with two pallets provides enhanced workflow through automatic workpiece changeover.
The machine includes 5 controlled axes (X, Y, Z, and two rotational axes) with travels of 29.5" (X), 25.6" (Y), and 19.7" (Z), allowing for complex multi-axis machining of intricate parts. Each linear axis has a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 1,970 inches per minute (ipm), ensuring fast and precise movement. The A axis offers 150 degrees of rotation for advanced part positioning.
